There should be no surprise that Roger Goodell, who was soft on the anthem protests and even softer on domestic violence, is now avoiding stepping on anybody’s toes around the nickname of one of his football teams.
Major League Baseball has been pressuring the Cleveland Indians for awhile that if they aren’t changing their name to at least get rid of the Chief Wahoo logo.
Cleveland has obliged but when Roger Goodell is questioned on the Washington Redskins, which is the most racist name in sports, he dodged the question, saying simply he doesn’t think the current owner has any interest in changing the name.
