Saskatoon police are investigating the city’s 11th armed robbery since the beginning of October.
This time, the Stop N’ Go convenience store on the 100 block of Wedge Road was targeted.
Police reported that a man came into the store around 10 p.m. Wednesday wearing a mask and carrying a handgun before demanding cash from the clerk. The suspect is then alleged to have run off on foot after taking an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
A canine unit was brought in to try and track the suspect, but was unable to find him.
The suspect is described as being between five feet, nine inches and five feet, 11 inches tall, wearing a purple and white bandana over his face, a grey and white plaid jacket and black pants. He was also carrying a black backpack.
