Regina will once again host BreakOut West in 2016.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the Queen City would welcome back the four-day music festival. Organized by the Western Canadian Music Alliance, the festival promotes and celebrates western Canadian music.
Along with performances around the city, BreakOut West includes Western Canadian Music Industry Awards Brunch and the Western Canadian Music Awards Gala.
Artists will submit applications for both the awards and performances in early 2016. Then juries will choose the festival lineup and winners.
Regina hosted the festival in 2012. BreakOut West will run Oct. 13 to 16, 2016.
