Traffic was rerouted on the Trans-Canada Highway west of Swift Current after a fatal crash early Thursday morning.
RCMP say a 27-year-old man died when a car and semi collided 1.6 kilometres west of the city around 3 a.m. The driver and passenger in the semi weren’t hurt.
The westbound lanes were closed for several hours while Mounties investigated. They were reopened by 10:45 a.m.
People in the area say road conditions were good at the time of the crash.
