The production of WolfCop 2 will begin shooting in Saskatchewan next year.
Creative Saskatchewan and Cinecoup made the announcement on Thursday confirming it will begin in February.
In a news release, producer Bernie Hernando said the sequel will be bigger, badder, dirtier, and hairier. Plus, Lowell Dean is returning as director and actors Amy Matysio (“Tina”) and Leo Fafard (“WolfCop”) are back in their leading roles.
JP Ellson, CEO of Creative Saskatchewan, said in a news release WolfCop is an excellent example of a Saskatchewan film industry success story.
A release date for WolfCop 2 has not been set, but producers hope to screen the finished product as early as the summer of 2016.
