A head-on crash near Holdfast Saturday night killed one man and sent another to hospital.
According to RCMP, the two cars crashed on Highway 2 at Holdfast, about 100 kilometres north of Regina, around 6:15 p.m.
The man who was driving the southbound vehicle was killed in the crash while the man driving the northbound car was seriously hurt, and was air lifted to Regina’s General Hospital by STARS Air Ambulance. The two drivers were the only ones in their vehicles.
Police are investigating the crash. The highway was opened again overnight.
