3rd man charged with attempted murder of 7 people in Regina

Regina police have charged a third man in connection to a violent incident last November on Montague Street.

Tyrone Lane Eagle, 20, faces four charges of attempted murder, three counts of attempted murder using a firearm and one count of break and enter to commit theft. He was arrested March 10.

The Regina man made his first court appearance Monday at the local provincial court.

Officers were called around 3:45 a.m. on Nov. 17, 2017  to a house in the 600 block of Montague Street for a report of people being seriously injured.

In total, seven victims were harmed in the incident. Regina police have not released their ages.

The first victims, two males and female, were taken to hospital with numerous injuries, including ones appearing to result from a bladed weapon and gunshots.

According to police, another victim, a male, was found a few hours later. Over the course of the investigation, officers found three more victims — two males and a female — who’d been at the house at the time, but left before police arrived.

The lengthy and complex investigation led to the arrests in December of a 23-year-old man and 17-year-old boy.

They made their first court appearances that month on charges including several counts of attempted murder.
