A Saskatchewan man is dealing with injuries after being stabbed in the back in Revelstoke, B.C. early Friday morning.
According to the Revelstoke Review, the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. outside a 7-Eleven store. RCMP believe five Saskatchewan men got into an argument with 12 other individuals outside a night club which then moved to the 7-Eleven.
The argument escalated and a 36-year-old Saskatchewan man was stabbed in the back. Another suffered cuts to his face and hands.
RCMP are not sure what started the altercation.
The Revelstoke Review says the Saskatchewan men took a taxi to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries.
RCMP are still looking for the person responsible for the stabbing. He is believed to be a white man, about 5’8″ with short hair and a goatee.
The group of Saskatchewan men are in Revelstoke for a snowmobiling trip.
