A boy is facing four charges, accused of breaking into a house with gun, and he’s 14 years old.
According to the Regina Police Service, they were called to Elphinstone and 5th Avenue around 4:30 Saturday afternoon for a report of a man with a gun.
In the meantime, police say the 14-year-old went through a backyard, broke into a house, and demanded the purse of the woman inside. He left without the purse, and ran into police who arrested him without incident.
The gun turned out to be a BB gun.
The 14-year-old boy cannot be identified as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He’s charged with break and enter with intent to commit an offense therein, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon, and disguise with intent.
