A Saskatchewan woman’s efforts to help out a porcupine having a bad day have been seen by millions.
Raelene Prieb posted video of her encounter Monday with the distressed rodent, found stuck on its back off a road between Yorkton and Prieb’s home near Melville.
Since then, the video has been shared more than 90,000 times and viewed some 3.1 million times as of Thursday morning.
In the clip, Prieb can be seen helping the porcupine right itself with the aid of her car windshield scraper. She then guides it towards nearby trees, via a porcupine-sized ramp carved in the snow.
