The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed five players Wednesday.
The team announced national receiver S.J. Haidara, national offensive lineman Aaron Picton, international offensive lineman Jarriel King, national defensive back Kwame Adjei, and national running back Brandon Deschamps have signed with the team. The terms of the contracts were not released.
S.J. Haidara will return for his fourth CFL season and second with the Riders. The 26-year-old played nine games picking up eight receptions for 58 yards and one special teams tackle last season.
Jarriel King was acquired by the Riders Dec. 18 from the Toronto Argonauts. The 28-year-old played three games for the Argos in 2015.
The rights to Aaron Picton were picked up by the Riders in a September trade with Calgary. He spent five seasons with the University of Regina Rams from 2010-2014 playing 38 conference games.
Brandon Deschamps signs with the green and white after spending the previous five seasons at the University of British Columbia.
Kwame Adjei joins the Riders after playing five seasons at Mount Allison. The 22-year-old picked up 176 total defensive tackles, six and a half quarterback sacks, and eight interceptions in 40 regular season games.
