As a record number of people visit Saskatchewan’s provincial parks, they’ll be paying more to do so.
User fees are increasing in 2016 for provincial parks for nightly camping, seasonal camping, group camping and vehicle-entry permits.
Nightly camping will see an increase of $1, entry permits are going up $1 to $5, group camping is up $4 to $8, and seasoning camping sees a hike of $30 to $75.

A release from the provincial government says this “marginal increase in park entry fees represents the first time fees have changed in more than 10 years”.
Saskatchewan’s provincial parks recorded nearly 3.9 million visits in 2015 – a new record.
Nightly camping reservations will launch in April over a 10-day period. Applications for seasonal spots are already available online.
