One of four people at the centre of a standoff in March, 2017, has learned his fate.
Morgan Littlechief, 29, was sentenced to 12 months in jail for his role in the standoff.
Littlechief, along with three others, were charged with attempt to commit murder.
It all started when a man was brought to Regina General Hospital with injuries consistent with being assaulted with a weapon.
After some investigation, SWAT, crisis negotiators and the explosives disposal unit were called to a home on the 700 block of Elphinstone Street.
According to police, six people left the house with four of them being arrested, including Littlechief.
After searching the home, an imitation handgun, bladed weapons and a needle were found.
Littlechief was also charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.
