Council retroactively slashed $1.33 million in rent owed by the Roughriders.
The first poll released ahead of Saskatchewan’s provincial election shows continued support for the SaskParty government.
The survey, conducted on Monday, found that the SaskParty would dominate across the province. More than half of the 1,508 people surveyed said they would support the SaskParty if a vote was held today.
“The (SaskParty) is dominating across the province right now, though their best scores come from outside Regina and Saskatoon where the NDP performs better,” said Quito Maggi, president of Mainstreet Research in a news release.
The strongest issues for the SaskParty, according to the news release, are taxes and job creation. The Saskatchewan NDP still has support from voters on how it would do on education and health care.
The margin of error for the survey is reported as +/- 2.53%, 19 times out of 20. Regional margins of error: Regina: +/-4.37%; Saskatoon: +/-4.33%;rest of Saskatchewan: +/-4.41%; 19 times out of 20.
