Regina police are investigating a break and enter and assault that left a 33-year-old man with significant injuries Tuesday evening.
The Regina Police Service was called to the 1900 block of Halifax Street just after 7 p.m. after someone reported that a break and enter was happening. When officers arrived, they learned that some sort of fight had happened outside of the home beforehand.
Officers tracked down a 33-year-old man already in hospital. RPS says the man had significant injuries “as a result of being assaulted with a weapon”.
No other information has been provided on the assault, suspect or suspects, or break and enter.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 777-6500 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
