A second person has been arrested and charged after an armed robbery in Yorkton last month.
On Wednesday, Swan River RCMP arrested 19-year-old James Reynold Brow. He’s facing charges of robbery with a weapon, wearing a disguise with the intent to commit an offence, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The charges are in connection to a robbery on Dec. 17. RCMP say two men went into the Mac’s convenience store in Yorkton early that morning with their faces covered; one of the men had a knife. The pair made off with cash, cigarettes and food.
Earlier this week, RCMP charged a 16-year-old boy in the case.
The robbery happened at the same location where 50-year-old Jimmy Wiebe was killed while on shift in June 2011.
