Moosomin RCMP are investigating a deadly house fire that broke out early Saturday morning.
The fire broke out in Moosomin at around 2:40 a.m. and there were two people inside the home at the time.
One of the residents was able to get out and was taken by STARS Air Ambulance to a hospital in Regina with undetermined injuries.
When the second person failed to exit the building, fire personnel and RCMP officers entered the house and located an unconscious 33-year-old man.
The man was taken to local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the fire is unknown and the investigation continues.
Moosomin is located about two hours east of Regina.
