Round one of a new traffic enforcement initiative by the Saskatoon Police Service has gone live.
On Tuesday, the police service’s new Twitter account @SPSTraffic posted its first poll asking the public to vote on where they think the next speed trap should go.
The first three options include the 1400 block of 22nd Street West, 800 block of Preston Avenue and 200 block of Primrose Drive. Twitter users have 24 hours to vote on the online poll. Whichever suggestion receives the most votes will be subject to enforcement on the following day and police will report the results.
