Punnichy RCMP are investigating a violent break in at a home on a First Nation in southern Saskatchewan.
RCMP received a call around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a break and enter at a home on the Muskowekwan First Nation located just east of Punnichy.
RCMP stated in a news release at least seven people forced their way into the home with weapons like steel bars, baseball bats, and a gun. Six adults and two children were inside the home at the time. The suspects damaged the home, a vehicle, and two men were assaulted. They were taken to hospital for treatment, but have since been released.
Jesse Mark Wolfe, 29, Brandon Michael Albert, 22, a 16-year-old boy, and a 15-year-old boy are all facing a number of charges including two counts of break and enter and commit aggravated assault. They made their first court appearance in Punnichy on Tuesday.
RCMP are still looking for Vernon Charles Bigsky, 29, Jonas Darian McNab, 19, and Shane Darrell Wolfe, 30.
All the suspects involved in this case are from the Muskowekwan First Nation.
