Regina police are investigating a number of incidents between Friday night and Saturday night.
On Friday around 7:40 p.m., police were called to the area of L’Arche Crescent and Lakeview Avenue after reports of a robbery.
A woman had confronted a man after seeing him dump some garbage in the park.
The woman was in the process of taking pictures of the man when he punched her in the face, took her phone and then took off from the scene.
A nearby witness called police. The victim suffered minor injuries.
Police were able to locate the suspect. The 56-year-old man who was charged with robbery.
Around 11:15 p.m. Friday night police responded to a sexual assault call near Arcola Avenue and Lacon Street.
The investigation revealed that a 14-year-old victim was walking along a bike path when a man came up from behind and pushed the victim to the ground, and sexually assaulted them.
The suspect ran eastbound towards Ring Road and is described as being six feet tall and heavy set.
Finally, on Saturday night around 11:50 p.m., police were called to the 1300 block of Angus Street for reports of an injured man.
The man had been assaulted with an edged weapon and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
