Another attempt was made to stop the car at highway 37, but it was also unsuccessful.
Just after 1 a.m., Redcliff RCMP reported the vehicle travelling westbound through Medicine Hat, Alta. at a high speed.
On Friday morning around 10 a.m., Alberta RCMP arrested the suspect without incident in Strathmore. The vehicle was seized.
On June 11, RCMP issued charges against the 34-year-old man.
The man will remain in custody in Alberta and is facing charges there as well.
