Five months after terrorists opened fire on a packed audience at the Bataclan Concert Hall in Paris during an Eagles of Death Metal show, the band is returning to the live stage this spring across Canada.
California’s The Eagles of Death Metal join the Toronto-based duo Death From Above 1979 and Turbowolf for a nine-city Canadian tour beginning in Vancouver on April 26.
The Eagles of Death Metal were onstage at the Bataclan on Nov. 13 when terrorists barged in and killed 89 people including the band’s merchandise member. The band members shared their story with VICE, recounting how they hear gunshots, barricaded themselves in a dressing room and helped save innocent lives.
The Canadian Tour hits nine cities including Saskatoon on April 30 at O’Brian’s Events Centre.
