A man police consider to be a high risk to reoffend is moving from Regina’s Cathedral neighbourhood back to the Heritage neighbourhood.
Regina police are notifying the public about 53-year-old Robert Allaby who has a history of violent and sexual acts against men and children. The advisory is issued under the terms of the Saskatchewan Public Disclosures Act to allow people to take suitable precautions.
Allaby started off residing to the Heritage neighbourhood on Jan. 21, then moved to the Cathedral neighbourhood, and is now back in Heritage.
Allaby is bound by parole conditions to stay away from parks, playgrounds, swimming pools, daycare centres, schools and community centres, or anywhere that children under 14 might be present.
He is not allowed to take any job or volunteer work that may put him in a position of trust with children. He’s also not allowed to have any direct or indirect contact with anyone under 16, unless he’s supervised by an adult who knows about his history and has been approved by his probation officer.
