The second person charged in connection to a kidnapping in Regina has been sentenced.
Chastity Kyplain, 31, and Daniel Scott, 27, were arrested in July 2017, after a man was kidnapped from the city in June, robbed of his personal items, driven 72 kilometres northeast of Regina and left there.
In March 2018, Scott was sentenced to two years and 33 days in jail for his part in the incident.
Now, Kyplain has been sentenced to two years and 319 days in jail for her role.
Kyplain will also have a lifetime ban on owning firearms.
Both were charged with kidnapping, robbery with violence, careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm and possession of a weapon obtained by crime.
Police located a gun on the bed of a home during their arrest.
