One woman is dead and a man has been taken to hospital following a crash at Theodore, northwest of Yorkton.
Around 6:50 p.m. Sunday, Yorkton RCMP responded to a call about a two-car crash at the intersection of Highway 651 and Highway 16.
A woman was found dead at the scene. A man was transported by ambulance to the hospital with unknown injuries. Both were driving alone in their separate cars.
RCMP said the initial investigation revealed the two cars collided at the middle of the intersection.
Highway 16 traffic was detoured around the community of Theodore. It was re-opened shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday.
Yorkton RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
