Severe thunderstorm warnings, watches in Sask.

It could be an active day in the skies for part of Saskatchewan.

Environment Canada has put out severe thunderstorm warnings and watches for various parts of the province. You can find a list of all weather alerts online.

The northeastern and central areas under warnings include La Ronge, Prince Albert and Pelican Narrows.

Kindersley, Saskatoon and Battlefords are currently under watches.

Meteorologists are tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong winds, nickel to ping pong ball sized hail and heavy rain.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Large hail can damage property and cause injury.

Strong winds can toss around loose objects, damage weak buildings, break branches off trees and overturn vehicles.

Lightning is also a risk, with it killing and injuring Canadians every year.

Heat warnings are also still in effect for the southwest corner of the province.
