Two RCMP officers were hurt while conducting a traffic stop Wednesday in the community of Montreal Lake, north of Prince Albert.
Police reported one officer stopped a vehicle and arrested a woman who was a passenger. At that point the man who was driving the vehicle allegedly assaulted the officer and took off.
Police chased the suspect vehicle for a while, and at one point another officer was dragged by the vehicle.
The suspect was eventually forced off the road and arrested.
The two officers are expected to recover from what were described as minor injuries.
Raini Henderson, 28, is now facing 11 charges: Endangering the life of a peace officer, assaulting a police officer, assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, disarming a police officer, attamept to injure a law enforcement dog, driving while disqualified, impaired driving, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possession of stolen property, flight from police and obstruction pf justice.
