The Rogers store at the Grasslands shopping centre in Harbour Landing was the scene of a robbery on Thursday.
Regina police responded to a call of a robbery in progress at a business on Gordon Road just before 11 a.m. on Thursday morning.
News Talk Radio spoke briefly with an employee at the Rogers store who confirmed the location of the robbery and said the robbers claimed to have a gun, but it wasn’t visible.
Police say four masked men entered the business and aggressively demanded merchandise. The suspects got away with a substantial amount of electronic merchandise.
The lone employee at the store was assaulted during the robbery, but not seriously injured.
On Thursday afternoon the metal grates were left up behind the glass doors and a hand-written sign explained that the location was closed for the day.
People working at businesses in the same strip mall told News Talk Radio they didn’t see anything until police officers arrived and started asking questions.
