An arrest has been made in connection to a murder investigation in Moose Jaw.
On Friday, Aug 17, the body of a 21-year-old man was found in a home in the city’s northwest area, prompting a murder investigation.
The next day an arrest warrant was issued for 20-year-old Sherwyn Pelletier. He was arrested around 12 p.m. in Regain after a brief standoff with Regina police.
Pelletier was remanded back in Moose Jaw where he’s set to appear in court on Monday.
He’s facing charges of second-degree murder, break and enter and robbery.
A second person has also been arrested in connection to this incident.
On Saturday, 24-year-old Thomas Redsky McNab was arrested and remanded in Moose Jaw.
He’s also charged with second-degree murder and break and enter and robbery.
The investigation is still ongoing.
