Her final score of -21 put her four strokes ahead of Angel Yin, her closest competitor on Sunday.
The crowd broke out into an impromptu O Canada. Brooke cried… So did a lot of others.

Henderson entered the day at -14, two strokes ahead of Yin and Japan’s Nasa Hataoka.
It’s a lead she never gave up, thanks to a bogey-free back nine that included a stretch of four consecutive birdies from holes 12 to 15.
She even battled through rain that swept through Regina Sunday afternoon. Organizers moved tee times up to try and avoid any rain delays Sunday. The first pairings left the tee box at 7 a.m. The final pairing began the first hole at 9:01 a.m.
