Man accused of sexually abusing child in Saskatoon apartment

A Saskatoon man is facing serious charges after allegedly sexually abusing a child and claiming that he would do it again.

Kenneth John Bowman, 34, appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Thursday. He’s charged with making child pornography, making child pornography available, possession of child pornography and arranging to commit a sexual offence against a child.

Members from the RCMP’s Integrated Child Exploitation (ICE ) Unit arrested Bowman just outside an apartment building in the 1600 block of Main Street near Louise Avenue on Wednesday night. The alleged abuse is believed to have taken place in one of the building’s units.

Police say they received information that Bowman had access to a child who he had allegedly abused in the past.
