A woman is dead and a man is in hospital after a head-on collision on a grid road northwest of Mossbank Tuesday morning.
Around 9:20 a.m., members of the RCMP and first responders from Gravelbourg Ambulance and Fire Department were called to the crash on Township Road 124, around six kilometres north of Primary Grid 718.
RCMP said an eastbound Jeep Cherokee collided head-on with a westbound Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The woman driving the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man driving the truck was airlifted to hospital by STARS with severe injuries. Firefighters used Jaws of Life to remove him from the vehicle.
Police said, at this point in the investigation, there is no indication of alcohol use.
A collision reconstructionist is on scene along with Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
