Regina didn’t get nearly as much snow Tuesday night and Wednesday morning as some other areas of the province did, but CJME weather specialist John Wilson says more precipitation may be on the way.
There was a small amount of snow in the Queen City as people woke up Wednesday morning.
“The big blast was up from Saskatoon to Prince Albert where they got quite a bit (of snow),” Wilson said, adding areas northwest of P.A. and northeast of Saskatoon saw some of the largest amounts.
Regina may still see some flurries throughout the day Wednesday, but Wilson expects no more than a centimetre. The city may see a few flurries Thursday as well.
Wilson’s forecast calls for Saturday and Sunday reaching 6 C in Regina, higher than the average high of 0 C. With those above-normal temperatures, any precipitation the Queen City gets may be rain rather than snow.
