Regina police are looking for a man that hasn’t returned to his apartment complex after explosions occurred there in early July.
Police were called to the apartment on the 2100 block of Robinson Street for multiple reports of explosions on July 2, 2017. There was also reports that a fire started in the basement after the explosions took place.
Investigators determined the cause was from a clandestine extraction lab in one of the suites. The lab is used to make illegal drugs.
Officers also seized a large quantity of marihuana, cannabis resin, and drug paraphernalia related to the production of cannabis resin.
Since the explosion, police said the person who rented the suite, 41-year-old Chi (Tom) Qouc Thang, has been missing. Police are trying to locate Thang in regards to the investigation.
Thang is described as Asian, stands five feet five inches tall, thin build, black hair that could possibly be shaven bald, and has brown eyes.
