Two men are facing charges following a gun-related incident Monday evening.
Around 6:40 p.m., Regina police were called to the area of Eighth Avenue and McTavish Street for a report of a man pointing a gun at a passing vehicle.
Soon after, police approached three men walking nearby, one of them matching the clothing description of the man who pointed the firearm.
After investigating, officers found two guns strapped to the torso of a 19-year-old — one of them loaded — and a third firearm in a backpack.
Bear spray was found on another man.
The 19-year-old is facing a total of 18 charges — including possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a firearm knowing it was obtained by crime.
He made his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
A 25-year-old man was also charged for carrying bear mace and breaching probation.
He appeared in provincial court Tuesday morning.
