The Ministry of Justice is searching for a man who escaped custody while on medical escort to the Regina General Hospital.
Rodger Kenneth King, 46, escaped custody around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
A government release said King is on remand at the Regina Correctional Centre for serious charges including firearms-related offences, possession of a controlled substance and breaches of probation.
Regina police have been notified.
King is described as being five feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He has a tribal fish and “Kings” tattoo on his left arm, tribal art on his right shoulder and a picture of a rose on his right forearm.
If someone has any information about his whereabouts, they are asked to call 911 or their local law enforcement.
