Regina man charged with impaired driving after rear-end crash

A 22-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after a crash in downtown Regina early Saturday morning.
Regina police said two people were seriously injured after their minivan was rear-ended at a red light on Saskatchewan Drive and Lorne Street around 1:40 a.m.
Police said early findings indicate the vehicle was stopped in the westbound lane when it was rear-ended.
The two people inside the van were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening, but serious, injuries.
Christian Brooks is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and driving with a blood alcohol level exceeding .08 causing bodily harm.
