You talked, the league listened.
CFL fans have been grumbling about the schedule in the back half of the season for having too many non-divisional matchups.
Last year, the Riders finished with two divisional games in their final five weeks.
This year, the Riders final four games are against divisional foes.
Overall the CFL will have 16 of their final 20 games being games within the division.
Last year, of the final 20 games, half of them were non-divisional games.
So what do we get? Ottawa and Hamilton going head to head in Weeks 19 and 20 to decide the division.
In the West, The Riders, Bombers, Eskimos, and Lions will decide second through fifth place by taking on each other head to head.
If you didn’t like all the games against the East early in the season, this is the payoff. A five-week stretch full of rivalries.
I can’t wait.
