The 31-0 loss to Winnipeg certainly has people stepping down from the bandwagon for the Roughriders.
Those bullish on the Riders are starting to believe this team is destined for an early playoff exit, some have leapt off the bandwagon believing the Riders may not win another game the rest of the season.
Let’s pump the brakes a little bit on this team going from contender to pretender overnight.
But I believe this Saturday’s game against Calgary will tell you more about this team than the 31-0 loss did.
The Riders have had their pride knocked, their attitude and ability questioned, but they still have an outside shot at first if they win out and the Stamps drop their final three.
It’s time this week to answer the bell against the best team in the league. They do that, start making room on the bandwagon.
They don’t.
I’ll start buying that the season ends in mid-November, rather than November 25th.
