The Biggar Nationals played in Unity against the Wilkie Outlaws Tuesday night for the senior championship game of the Sask West Hockey League.The game ended, with the Outlaws the winners, and as the trophy was about to be presented on the ice, a brawl broke out in the stands.
Nick Wourms from Saskatoon was there and captured video of the wild melee on his cell phone.
He tells us some fans were “exchanging words throughout the game”. He says the situation boiled over as the game ended.
