Before this week’s games in the CFL don’t even try to figure out what could possibly happen in the CFL’s West Division.
There are dozens of different ways this is going to play out. Calgary or Saskatchewan could finish first, all five teams could be in second and then it goes on from there.
And with every game from here on out, every team holds their own destiny. Just win is the motto and they’ll make the playoffs and then allow the rest to take care of itself in terms of first through fourth.
I’ve already noted the great schedule the league set up this year with all these divisional games and it’s all for the benefit of the viewer.
Out East we get back to back weeks with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Ottawa Redblacks to figure out first and second in the East Division.
Consider the final three weeks a great preview of what we’ll see in the postseason.
Usually, at this time of the year, we can’t wait for the playoffs to start. This year, I’ll wait. Because I don’t want to miss the sprint to the finish.
