Over 3,000 stuffed animals were tossed onto the ice.
For the second time this month, police said someone was caught trying to smuggle drugs into the Regina Correctional Centre.
Regina police report that a man turned himself in at the front doors of the police station at 4 a.m. on Wednesday for missing a court date.
Officers took him into custody but were suspicious, so they took him to the hospital and managed to recover marijuana, morphine, methamphetamine and an ADHD drug called concerta from his body.
The 29-year-old is being charged with possession of these drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
While this is similar to another attempted smuggling incident earlier this month, police said there are two completely different people charged.
