'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
A seven-year-old boy suffered serious injuries Monday afternoon after a hit and run in Saskatoon’s Mount Royal neighbourhood.
Saskatoon police said in a release Tuesday the boy was crossing Avenue T at Rusholme Road at approximately 3:45 p.m. when he was reportedly struck by a dark-coloured van.
The vehicle then reportedly fled westbound down Bedford Road.
The boy was taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Police said they are still looking for the van, but no details were available other than the “dark-coloured” description.
