Huskies men's hockey and women's volleyball teams both forced game 3 Sunday.
Tickets are on sale for the first Saskatchewan Roughriders home playoff game since 2013.
According to Miriam Johnson, the team’s marketing director, more than 1,500 have been sold since Saturday.
If the Stampeders win their final game against B.C. this weekend, the Riders will finish second in the west and play the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Nov. 11.
If the Stampeders lose, the Riders will get a bye to the west final on Nov. 18 and await the winner of a west semi-final between Calgary and Winnipeg.
Kick off for either game at Mosaic Stadium would be 3:30 p.m.
Johnson urged fans to come out and preserve the Riders’ home-field advantage.
“We need Rider Nation to be here. We don’t want a blue stadium, we don’t want a red stadium. We need a green stadium,” she said.
“If it’s anything like 2013, it could be one of the most monumental games of the history yet here at the stadium.”
Tickets will still start at $31 in the Pil Country endzone seating, she said.
The CFL will be in charge of running the game.
“We operate the game but the CFL actually will in and they have control over more of the ads and the way the game looks and feels,” Johnson said.
“There’s going to still be a lot of traditions that obviously still will be true. But there are a lot of changes that are going to be happening based on the fact that it is a CFL ‘Road to the Grey Cup’ game.”
