Bring on the Bombers!
The last time these two prairie rivals faced in the playoffs it was the 2007 Grey Cup when Winnipeg and Saskatchewan took over Toronto.
This will be the fourth matchup between the two teams with Saskatchewan having a 2-1 edge, though the Bombers 31-0 win is the most recent game.
The Riders were on a short week, with only four days off between games, while this time they’re coming off a bye week well rested and will be much better prepared.
Of course, they’ll also be at home. You can’t imagine the team playing as flat as they did in Winnipeg in front of a likely sold out crowd.
The offences rarely put on an air show, the run games are the best in the league and the defences love making plays.
The West semifinal sets up to be a good one, as long as Zach Collaros is OK to play. Right now it sounds as though he is.
