Prisoner recaptured after escaping Prince Albert penitentiary

A spokesperson with the Saskatchewan Penitentiary confirmed Thursday afternoon that Edward Daniel Ross has been recaptured and returned to custody.
According to a media release issued by Correctional Service Canada (CSC), the 20-year-old was unaccounted for during Wednesday night’s count in the Prince Albert minimum security unit.
He’s currently serving a sentence of almost four years for disguise with intent, uttering threats to cause death or harm, forcible confinement, along with break and enter, and robbery.
