There will be plenty of parking and lane restrictions in effect Sunday as Regina makes way for the Santa Claus parade.
Many feared there would be no Santa Claus parade after Southland Mall cancelled the parade last month.
Later that week, Wheaton Kia stepped up to sponsor the event and keep the parade running, but this time with a different route.
The parade will begin at Albert Street and 2nd Avenue North, then will head north and finish at the Northgate Mall.
Albert Street is closed in both directions, including Albert Street North from 2nd Avenue to 9th Avenue and Albert South from 6th Avenue to 2nd Avenue.
The parade begins at 1 p.m. and is expected to end quicker than usual.
