Riders rent reduction a 'contractual matter', no legal threat: Reynolds

The $1.33M rent reduction comes from what the club owed during seasons impacted by the pandemic.
A young Regina girl wants to pay it forward this holiday season, and she’s doing it with $770 worth of toys.
Kamryn Fiacco and her cohort of 11 Helping Hands club members have raised the money over the last few weeks as a way to give back to families in need.
Come Tuesday this week, she and the group of kids will head out to toy stores, stock up on Christmas gifts and donate them to CJME’s annual Santa’s Anonymous wrap day on Dec. 15 at the Regina Food Bank.
“It helps families during Christmas time, and we just want to give presents to kids who might not get presents every year,” Fiacco said.
Once paper is taped, the ribbons are tied and the bows are fixed, CJME will help deliver the presents to kids and families in need; kids aged 0 to 12 will have their gifts in time for Christmas Day.
Fiacco said she’s happy to help out.
“When people are kind to me, it makes me want to spread that kindness to others,” she said.
Donation barrels for toys are still open throughout the city.
