Despite being stabbed in the neck, a Moose Jaw man will be alright.
According to police, it happened on Saturday night around 11:15. Officers were called out to the 100 block of Ominica Street West in south Moose Jaw.
There, officers found the victim, who they soon learned had stab wounds in his neck. He was taken to the Wigmore hospital and was treated for what were described as “non-life threatening” injuries and later released.
On Sunday morning, police said they had a man in custody, but were still investigating, so no charges had been laid.
Another crime involving a knife
Earlier that night, police in Moose Jaw investigated an armed robbery.
They said a man walked into a convenience store on the 0 block of Woodlilly Drive with a knife, stole cash along with cigarettes, then ran off.
As of Sunday morning, no arrests had been made in the robbery.
