The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added another former Edmonton Eskimo to the roster.
The team announced it acquired offensive linemen Thaddeus Coleman in a trade with the Eskimos Monday morning.
In return, the Riders have given Edmonton the rights to two players on the negotiation list. The Riders did not disclose the names of those players.
At six-foot eight-inches tall, Coleman is entering his fourth season in the league. He signed with Edmonton in 2013. He started 21 games at either left or right tackle. He won the Grey Cup with the Eskimos last year.
The Roughriders also made several announcements about fan events taking place while the team spends time in Saskatoon.
This year’s training camp will go back to the Bridge City with practices taking place at Griffiths Stadium at the University of Saskatchewan.
It runs from May 29 to June 18.
